After getting to know a bit more about our new Consultant, Kelly Benson, we wondered how to encapsulate her passion for adventurous (and somewhat dangerous) activities, enthusiasm for exploring Africa, and love for animals of all shapes and sizes, all within a single featured image.

Get to know more about Kelly in this employee spotlight.
As a Marketing Consultant, I will primarily be managing growth strategies and planning for a variety of our clients, as well as assisting in the execution of marketing campaigns.
I was set to be a veterinarian for sure, up until I was about 16 years old.
I LOVE animals… really all animals and thought that would be the profession I would eventually end up in.
In my spare time, I do like to volunteer at the Animal Humane Society and other organizations.
What do you like most about Denamico?
It’s only my first few weeks, but so far everyone is very welcoming and I am enjoying getting to know the team. I like the open workspace and can tell it's a very collaborative environment, which I enjoy. So, two thumbs up!
Before I started my career in advertising and digital marketing, I was in event planning. I thought I would really enjoy planning events, but it is definitely an industry you have to love. I used to be the Food & Beverage Coordinator for the Uptown Summer Art Fair and that was definitely an experience. I can only imagine what it’s like planning the Minnesota State Fair!
I am super excited to be joining the Denamico team, and I look forward to building a career with the company. I definitely see myself growing within the company and can see the passion everyone has who works here.
I was fortunate enough to travel to Africa with my family a couple of years ago and we spent two weeks in Tanzania and Cape Town. We went on a weeklong African Safari and it was amazing!
We were up close and personal with lions, cheetahs (even babies), rhinos, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and more! The people we met there were so kindhearted and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience I will never forget.
I highly recommend traveling to Africa if you ever have the chance; it is a truly beautiful country.
I would definitely consider myself very adventurous. I love to try new things. I have been skydiving, bungee jumping, and even cage diving with great white sharks – it was honestly terrifying… and at the same time, an awesome experience! Try it sometime :)
I love to be outdoors and at the lake, go for a bike ride with my dog, pilates, cooking, traveling, boating, and spending time with family and friends at my cabin on Gull Lake.
